Hale Street Link, Go-Between Bridge

Hale Street Link Alliance, alliance comprising of Hyder, Bouygues Travaux Public, McMahon, Seymour Whyte and Brisbane City Council tasked with the delivery of the tolled crossing of the Brisbane river. With a focus was on detailed design refinement on the twin 274m long insitu concrete balance cantilevered bridges and ancillary structures including: service and elevated walkways. My involvement included detailed design of Alliance value engineered innovations required for improved cost effectiveness achieved through constructability workshops and programme initiatives. On both of the twin box structures there was a focus on reducing the amount of concrete for the box cells.
